The Bridge at Clemson is a Campus Ministry of the Church of the Nazarene. Started in 2006, the Bridge seeks to re-connect people in the Clemson community with God.
In February 2008, the ministry bought Main Street Deli and Coffeehouse to use as a ministry center. About 50 people visit the restaurant every day: Students come to study, couples come on dates, families to eat out, and business people to get some work done away from the office. Mary and Ken seek to connect with each person who enters the store. Their goal is to build a relationship that God can use to lead that person closer to Himself. At present, around sixty five students and other members of the local community have become involved in the ministry of the Bridge. Some attend our Sunday Morning Worship gatherings, our Bible Studies or Prayer Meeting. Others are regulars at the Deli, and visit regularly for the good food and and honest caring conversation.
